  • Christmas Time

I cannot believe how fast this year has gone. I have been so busy with all the Christmas things to do, that I was even forgetting my blogs. This year has been quite a year, and this Christmas time is just as full and amazing. One thing I love to do during the Christmas season is going to all the Christmas markets. I love looking at all the things that people can create during Christmas time. The lovely decorations, the exciting new things that I have not seen before. Even trying new flavors or old ones is fun. Christmas will always remain my favorite time of year. So, take out…

  • Vacation Time

There is something that every couple should do together and that is taking a vacation. There is something about getting out of the house for a week and spending time together. It is important to get that quality time that is just for the two of you. A couple needs to have that kind of time. It can also let you know how well a couple is together. If you even have doubts about your partner a good way to see if you are good together is to go away together. See if there is any fighting, or if there is no talking when you are together. This shows you…

  • Crying

“…you know that a good, long session of weeping can often make you feel better, even if your circumstances have not changed one bit.” ― Lemony Snicket Have you ever felt like just crying? I think it is something that we all need to do sometimes. We need to let out our sad emotions. Sometimes a good cry is good for our soul. We need to cry to let out our sadness, whether it is for a death or a tragedy or even for a heartbreaking situation, letting this sad emotion out is necessary for us to move forward in life.  I say allow ourselves to cry out our fears…

  • Christmas

Christmas is right around the corner and it has me thinking about romance and being in a relationship. This time of year can be fun and magical, yet for some it is lonely and sad. I have thought about it a lot lately. How much it can hurt to break up with someone you love this time of year but it happens. And as much as we all get sad, we still need to pick ourselves up and remember that we all have loved ones around us. Maybe they are family, maybe they are friends, but life has always given us some unexpected people to care for and share our…

  • Christmas Markets

There is something to say for this season that makes going to the market just a bit more fun. I love going to Christmas markets, and I have enjoyed this year so far about three. Each one has different things to enjoy and different ideas to show. There is so much you can enjoy going to a Christmas market. I know that some will say there are just too many people and too many expensive things. But I say it is not about buying or the amount of people. It is about getting into a Christmas mood and seeing all the cool ideas that can bring you. My favourite kinds…

  • Snow

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. How I love the snow at Christmastime. I will say it is the only time during the year that I love to have snow. Once the holidays are over, it could pack up and go (although that is not the case). However, snow makes Christmas more magical. The lights look more twinkly when there is snow, and a romantic walk outside with lights all around is much more romantic when there is snow. It makes Christmas time cheerier and fun. I know that cold weather is not for everyone, not even me, but I love the magic that comes during this…

  • Lights

I love Christmas lights. I have finally put my lights up outside for Christmas. I love the way the lights look at night as I stroll by. It gives such a warm feeling even when it is cold outside. Although I am still waiting on the snow to walk around looking at the lights, I still think lights are some of the best parts of Christmas. It even has a romantic side when the snow has fallen, and the lights glisten against the snow. It can be said to have a magical feel. I just love that kind of Christmas magic. I think that the mixture of lights and snow…

  • Boy, Am I Late!

I know it is not Christmas yet, not even the month of Christmas, but I usually start decorating that day after Halloween. But for some reason, this year I am late. I have just now started to decorate, and not much. I have not even decorated the outside. I put a wreath up, but I am having difficulty getting into the spirit of Christmas this year. I do not even know why. This is my favourite time of year, and I have made all the plans, but I am feeling a bit less in the mood. Does that ever happen to you?  I do not know what is the reason…

  • Jack Frost

Many people have told me that November can be a dull month. Well, where I live, we have nothing this month, unlike others who have Thanksgiving. But I like to see this month as preparation for the main event, my favourite event, Christmas. How much I do in November so I have more fun in December is quite a bit. I like to have everything in order: decorating, the gift choices, and some baking done so that I have more time to spend having fun with all the Christmas events I can attend. I like to make myself available for any activity that could happen in December. However, that’s just…

  • Getting Ready

This is the time of year, where I am putting the Halloween away and getting ready for Christmas. Yes, I am an early bird, but I love this time of year. I will start watchin g my Christmas movies and preparing for all the fun I will have. I like to make plans about when and where to do things. I like to get myself into the mood of Christmas and see all the romance and joy this time of year. Oh yes, I know Thanksgiving is on its way first in some places, but for me, nothing tops Christmas. All the joy and merriment, all the fun and romance.…
