  • My Love of Writing

I am currently working on my next book, Simply You. I find it fun and interesting when I write a book, and I start with one idea in mind, but it changes as my book progresses. I love how my characters develop as I write. Makes my characters seem like they could have been real. Sometimes an evil character that I have imagined would end up one way or another, tends to learn and change and, in the end, is not the genuine bad guy of the story. I love writing because there is no end to the possibilities of what could happen. Whether one character is a bad guy…

  • Just a Thought

In my blogs, I talk a lot about love, from different sides of love to romance and many more things. I have always tried to inspire and create a welcoming place for anyone to read about love, all kinds of love. I am an author who writes about love all the time, and even though these are like fairy tales, I would like to think that love, like my books or any romance author’s book, could in some form come true. Love is love. It may not always be grand, but it can get complicated and come in many different forms. But love is something we share. One thing I…

  • It has been a while

It has been a while since my last blog. Summer tends to keep me entirely occupied. When you have a big family like mine, you tend to have a busy summer because everyone is off for the summer. But that does not mean we should not take time for ourselves. One thing that I do know is that love is essential, and the most important love is the love of yourself. You cannot truly be in love if you cannot love yourself. And I know that not everyone will agree with this statement, which is okay. But in my experience, a person who hates themselves tends to use love as…

  • How do we know we are falling in love?

I have researched and found some ways we can know if we fall in love with someone. In my following few blogs, I will look at different ways a character could know they are falling in love. And as a writer, these concepts help me develop my plot in my book because I can use these ways one or more than one to showcase the character and how they are falling in love with another character.  The first method I am looking at is that the best of yourself comes out when you are around the person. You know you are falling in love if when you are around that…

  • Falling in love

I write a lot about romance and just finished writing a book recently, yet it accrued to me that in all my writings, I have not once looked at how a person would know that they are in love. Falling in love is a different experience for each person. Sometimes it takes time. Sometimes it is quick. Sometimes the character falls in love and does not even realize it, and sometimes, they know it from the beginning. And I write my books with this in mind. Each story is different, just like each character is. I find it interesting to see the different possibilities that a story can take. And…

  • Summer

My summer is booked with loads of things, from family to friends to all kinds of activities. So being summer, I will try my best to get my blogs in, but in case I miss one or two, just know it’s because of summer fun. I will enjoy each day, and I hope you will too. I also hope that some romance springs from this summer. I will let you know if I learn of some lovely romantic stories this summer. Take care, and have a great summer vacation.

  • A little sidetracked

Does it ever happen that you have an idea of what you are supposed to write yet end up on another completely different track? Well, that is me today. I had planned on continuing my blogging from the last one, but I feel I should write about another topic altogether.   It is summer, and it is still a bit chilly where I live. Yet I feel like summer activities can be fun and romantic if you are with the right person. One of my favorites is hiking and walking. It is perfect for a stroll out in nature when it is not too hot or cold. Hand in hand with…

  • Organization

When it comes to writing, being organized has a specific need. I am not one to always be organized. For I am a creative being and sometimes creativity needs chaos. But when writing, yes, chaos is fun to read, but it is also dangerous. So we need some organized way of writing. Take this as an example; if I wrote a story that jumped around and the reader could not seem to keep up with whom is where and doing what, this is disorganized writing. Even in the most chaotic books, there is still some organization to the events and people. This is what keeps a reader reading.  Keeping on…

  • Important Parts of Romance

When writing romance, I must think of all the parts that involve romance. From the connection to kissing to being intimate, I need to think and plan each part so it works well together and creates an exciting scene, not one that is weird or awkward. As much as I need to know my characters because each character will react differently in different situations, I also need to organize each step in writing a romance novel. I like to think about how many steps I want and what parts I will use in each step. Such as, if I use a step of kissing, I may only use the kissing…

  • Disposable love?

In today’s world, where everything is disposable, from our food to our stuff and now to even relationships, I find that more and more people tend to think that relationships are disposable when in reality, they should not be. Yes, we need to surround ourselves with like-minded people, but we still need good solid relationships in our lives because that gives us extra meaning. All relationships are important, but my favorite to talk about, well, I am sure you can guess it, is romantic relationships. Yes, it is much easier to think that there is plenty of fish in the sea, but having that one person there for you, who…
