Waiting

How does waiting come into play with love and lust? Well, waiting sometimes means having the patience to wait for someone or the endurance to wait on love. Love waits, lust does not. Lust is all about gratification in the present. Therefore the concept of waiting is lost because they want in the now and are not willing to wait. Lust is never thoughtful or long. It can come and goes as quickly as the wind. Love is strong and does not falter as lust can so easily do. Love is patent and has endurance, which means it waits. It waits for the right life partner, it waits for growth, it waits when through hardships. Love will wait forever. However, this does not mean love waits for the wrong person. But love is resilient and is always there. So as much as love will wait when needed, it also understands when it is not needed.
