Love is
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
The most known way of seeing what love is, is with this bible verse, although one can look at many different places to learn what love is. But one thing that all answers the question of what love is, is that love has many facets, and we need to understand each facet to really understand love. When writing love stories, I find it useful to understand fully what love is so that I can relay this in my stories and encourage a great feeling for my readers.
