Someone once told me romance novels are too basic. They all end the same way, making them predictable and somewhat dull. I say this is where the person is reading wrong. I know that I do not read romance novels or even write romance novels with the idea of it being basic because I know the two people in love will end up together at the end of the book. We all know that will happen. No, why we read is for the journey. The journey is the most critical part of a romance novel and is what makes the book. It is the journey that makes romance novels fun to read. 

I love reading and writing romance because I love the journey that it takes two people to find each other and be reminded about love. Sometimes the journey creates hatred or loss, but in the end, they will figure out that they love each other and come together in that love. That is what makes a romance novel great.
