Disposable love?
In today’s world, where everything is disposable, from our food to our stuff and now to even relationships, I find that more and more people tend to think that relationships are disposable when in reality, they should not be. Yes, we need to surround ourselves with like-minded people, but we still need good solid relationships in our lives because that gives us extra meaning. All relationships are important, but my favorite to talk about, well, I am sure you can guess it, is romantic relationships. Yes, it is much easier to think that there is plenty of fish in the sea, but having that one person there for you, who cares about you, gives us so much more in life than living jumping from one relationship to the next. How can a person truly learn who another is without the time to learn about them? I love romance and romantic love. It is why I write novels that involve love. But I like to write about the forever kind of love. When two people, no matter the difficulties, come together and face the world together. There is nothing like having a partner like that beside you. Yes, we can live life alone. Nothing is wrong with that. And no, this is not necessarily something everyone has found it yet. But I like to believe that there is a person for everyone in life. We need to open our eyes and find them and when we do find them, hold onto them. Because once we go looking for another, we cannot always get the old one back. I do believe in forever. However, finding that person can be hard, and ensuring we have the right person too. But I have to believe that there is someone for everyone, even me. So look for your one person and then hold onto them.
I wish to apologize for missing posting my last blog. I had some home issues I had to deal with. Thanks for understanding.
