Our Attitude
I am always reading things about how parents should which what kind of attitude they have with their children because it can form the kid into certain ways. As much as I agree with this, I also think that it is not something that should be watched when with kids. We should watch our attitude with everyone.
Have you ever heard of the ripple effect? The ripple effect is that what you do or say has a lasting effect moving from one person to the next. As an example, if you have a negative attitude, such as yelling at a person because they bumped you at the store, then this person can have a negative attitude towards the next person and this can keep going from one person to the next causing a negative ripple effect. Just as much as there can be a negative one there can be a positive one.
When we are with any person, especially those we care for, we should always try to leave the person with a positive vibe so that they continue to push positivity throughout the day. I find this can create a beautiful return. If you start your day with your partner in a positive light, then when they return from work, even if they had a bad day, they are more likely to have a positive stand. This is how we have a return from a positive ripple effect.
So what is your attitude with everyone you meet and with your partner? At the end of the day, how we treat each other will reflect into the entire day and can cause a negative or positive outcome. So let’s be good to our partners and treat them with love.
