Feeling with the heart
“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched—they must be felt with the heart.”
Helen Keller
I love this saying from Helen Keller because life is nothing if not felt with the heart. Although sometimes it can hurt, I do think it is worth letting your heart win on some things. But as much as it is essential to feel things with your heart, it is also important to have a little logic with it. Because love is tricky, love can blind a person to do things that they should not.
Someone once told me that love could be like looking at a painting from up close. You cannot see the whole picture, which is why it is said that love is blind. I think that love is a marvelous thing, but one has to feel with the heart while looking at the whole picture. So I will tell everyone, feel with your heart, because there is no better feeling than love. However, you need to look at the whole picture to know that love is two-directional and not one-directional. That is where true love comes in, and the feeling with your heart is complete.
