Don’t yell

Being in a relationship can be frustrating. People disagree and fight, and it can cause a person to become angry and yell. But yelling only makes things worse, makes people defensive. It is always better to remain calm and not yell. This can be hard, but is important for your relationship. Both partners need to learn how to communicate with each other and not yell at each other. Yelling is a toxic way of handling things. However, the healthy way is to remain calm and talk things out. So if you value your relationship and want you and your partner to grow together and not a part, then good communication and remaining calm when things get tough can help.  As the quote below says, yelling is not love, so let’s talk with love to our partners and all whom we love. For love should be what drives you.

“If someone yells at me, they are not expressing love. They may be threatening me. They may be expressing great frustration with me. They may simply be trying to control my behavior. However, they are not communicating love.”
