Deep Love
“Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning, a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature, and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable.”
—Bruce Lee.
I love this quote because it is very true in many ways. At first, when you are in love, it can be hot and fiery, but this fire tends to die down after a while, but that does not mean there is no love there. Love can continue to grow. If we work at it and grow with each other, it grows deep and unquenchable. It is something we should all aspire for in life, for an unshakable love. This may seem like a rare occurrence, but it is not an impossibility. So we should all work towards that deep kind of love. I pray that we all find love that can grow into something so deep that nothing can break it.
